These upgrades reduce facilities' energy use, improve efficiency, lower energy costs, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance comfort for staff and visitors.Our team works with businesses, municipalities, schools, and nonprofits to improve performance through customized upgrades in LED lighting, HVAC, weatherization, insulation, refrigeration, and building controls as well as support EV charging station installations.https://artisenergysolutions.comOverview and Key ResponsibilitiesThis internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in energy efficiency, customer engagement, and field-based project support. The role is primarily focused on supporting on-site building assessments and helping identify opportunities for energy efficiency upgrades. Responsibilities include visiting customer sites, assisting with energy assessments, documenting existing building conditions, taking measurements and photos, completing assessment forms, supporting follow-up activities, and assisting with additional business and program-related tasks as needed.Key Skills NeededInterest in energy efficiency, sustainability, business, engineering, or a related field demonstrated through coursework, internships, or projectsStrong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with customers and team membersComfortable visiting customer sites and working in field environmentsOrganized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to manage multiple tasks and stay on top of responsibilitiesWillingness to learn technical concepts related to energy efficiency, utility programs, and building systemsSelf-motivated, dependable, and willing to collaborate with colleaguesStrong willingness to be coached, accept feedback, and improve over timeProficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as digital tools and appsFlexibility to support different aspects of field and operational workWhat We Are Looking ForCurrent junior or senior in college, current trade school student, or recent graduateStudy or Degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or technical field preferred but not requiredMust be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this roleMust own a reliable vehicle and be willing to drive throughout Massachusetts.
