Long-Term Care Staffing Coordinator
Based in Nassau County/Queens, New York
Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities:
Plan nursing team schedules according to employee availabilities and unit needs.
Manage all time off requests and find appropriate coverage to fill schedule gaps.
Successfully navigate last minute changes to the schedule.
Follow protocols to respond to call outs and problem solve to find effective solutions
Frequently update recruitment team about open positions.
Implements various staffing solutions to help facility achieve all key performance indicators.
Maintain company and industry labor requirements.
Prepare staffing reports as needed.
Other related tasks/duties as assigned by supervisor.
Who you are:
Minimum of 1-year experience as a Staffing Coordinator in a Long-Term Care Facility (REQUIRED)
Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite user (Outlook, Word and Excel, specifically).
Skilled in Communication, Organization and Prioritization.
A Professional Team-player who is a rock star Problem Solver.
