Overview
As Electromechanical Design Engineer for Lockheed Martin MFC, you will develop production-ready hardware and electromechanical subsystems for mission-critical defense systems. You’ll work with a broad engineering community to deliver reliable solutions, from concept to verification, across design, testing, and integration phases. The role blends design, modeling, and supplier collaboration, with travel to resolve issues and validate hardware. This position is Orlando-based and requires the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electromechanical subsystems (CCAs, harnesses, enclosures, sub-assemblies)Produce mechanical layouts, 3D models, and drawings; select materials, components, and processesModel wiring harnesses in Zuken and generate Bills of MaterialsBuild model-based routing to meet size, weight, and power constraintsDefine acceptance-test criteria and document verification results in WindchillPerform MRB actions and maintain configuration controlCollaborate with structural/thermal analysts, CM, electrical/mechanical designers, subcontractors, planning, and quality teamsProvide technical support during design releases, assembly, inspection, and test; travel to supplier/manufacturing sites
