Senior Data Engineer

Sr. Data EngineerContractRole Description:One of our large federal consulting partners is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to provide support and assistance to design, development, integrate, test, and deploy a modernized data platform and also support day-to-day Operations & Maintenance (O&M) work based for one of their major federal government agency customers. Required skills/Level of Experience:• Minimum of 10 years of experience with Architectural frameworks and how to design applications• Senior Java Developer with at least 10 years’ experience with the following:• Exp with Data Fabric Platform - AWS• Experience designing, developing, and implementing Java-based microservices using Spring Boot framework.• Experience designing, developing and testing Java-based microservices using Java rules engine application using MVEL language (business rules/Java pseudo).• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design innovative Java Plugins and Microservices.• Ability to architect and design scalable and reliable Java microservices to meet business requirements.Nice to have skills:• Experience Z/OS• Experience with Kafka and Confluent• Experience with Java Message Service, Core Java, Spring Core , Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, AWS services• Active MBI Clearance Highly Desirable
