What You Need:The Custodial Lead supports the daily operations of the District's custodial services program by providing on-site leadership and guidance for custodial staff. This role is hands-on-leading, training, and working alongside team members to ensure buildings are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The Custodial Lead works closely with the Custodial Supervisor and building administration to support efficient and high-quality operations.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education preferredPrevious experience in custodial services, facilities, or maintenance requiredExperience in a school or educational setting preferredStrong communication, organization, and leadership skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic computer skills (email, work orders, scheduling systems)Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periodsAbility to work evening hours and occasional weekends as neededReliable transportationConsistent, regular and reliable attendancePhysical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, read, operate a computer or other devices, reach with hands or arms, and may occasionally push, lift, or move up to 25-50 pounds.
