Office AdministratorMission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking to hire an Office Administrator to support operations at its Alexandria, VA facility. The Office Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the 60,000 square foot Engineering and Manufacturing facility that helps secure our nation's future. The candidate will manage the front desk ensuring compliance with security protocols. The role supports day-to-day office functions, coordinates facility services, and acts as a liaison between staff, security personnel, and management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to work in a highly regulated environment. The candidate will be required to be onsite Monday thru Friday standard working hours.Primary responsibilities include:Visitor Management: Greet and receive visitors, ensuring all security protocols and access control procedures are strictly followed.Break Room Oversight: Maintain and manage break room areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adequate supplies.Mail Handling: Oversee incoming mail and packages, ensuring timely distribution and secure handling.Invoice Processing: Accurately process invoices and maintain records for financial tracking and compliance.Vendor Coordination: Schedule and coordinate services with approved vendors, ensuring adherence to facility and security requirements.Meeting Room Scheduling: Manage the scheduling and setup of meeting rooms, ensuring availability and proper arrangements for staff and visitors.Minimum Qualifications0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Familiarity with security protocols and compliance standards.Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.Preferred RequirementsPrior experience managing day-to-day logistics of a small officeExperience in accounting, finance, or business administrationAn active Secret clearance.Physical Requirements Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
