Seeking 3 full-time Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry faculty members at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on the clinical scholar pathwayThese 3 physicians will join a team of professionals to provide inpatient psychiatry servicesThere is an opportunity to do outpatient services if desiredCall is: 1 weeknight per month and 3-4 weekends per yearInpatient psychiatry services include an 18 bed Adult Unit and a 12 bed Child/Adolescent UnitCare is delivered in a multi-disciplinary approachExcellent sub-specialty coverage with ED visits above 46,000Selected candidates will be responsible for direct patient care along with, potentially, supervision and teaching of child psychiatry fellows, residents, and medical studentsAn appreciation of the importance of and satisfaction from working as part of an innovative service model and an ability to work collaboratively are essential. An interest in clinical research, teaching, and/or public health is a plus. Knowledge of evidence-based medical practice is essentialCompetitive salary plus a comprehensive benefit package including 10 days of CME.
