Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Houston Position Summary: Telios is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Houston team and help design the mechanical and plumbing systems that bring buildings to life. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers, project managers, architects, and other design professionals on projects ranging from healthcare and laboratories to cleanrooms, commercial facilities, and industrial/manufacturing environments. Projects will include both new construction and renovations, giving you exposure to a broad range of building systems and technical challenges. What You’ll Do Design HVAC, hydronic, ventilation, and plumbing building systems Perform engineering calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing Develop coordinated construction documents using Revit Conduct field investigations and document existing conditions Coordinate designs across architectural and engineering disciplines Support projects through design, documentation, and construction Work directly with project managers, clients, contractors, and equipment vendors as your experience develops What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical emphasis Mechanical/HVAC building systems design experience; plumbing design experience preferred Experience with Revit or similar building design/documentation software preferred Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills FE/EIT certification or progress toward professional licensure preferred
