As we continue to build our legacy, we are hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to focus on the Paint Line for new products.This position is located on site in Thief River Falls, MN. This is an excellent career opportunity for a new grad or early career Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer who wants to build a career in the fast-paced world of powersports.RESPONSIBILITIESEvaluate production processes to increase productivity and investigate new methods of enhancing the product.Resolve production issues including chemical balancing, automation systems and powder coating processes.Collaborate with quality and outside engineering firms to design and certify part hanging systemsCoordinate material and tooling availability with appropriate stakeholders.Process and implement Engineering Change Notices for products to ensure the design is producible as drawn, methods are defined via routing, and that all time standards, process plans, work plans, and tool orders are defined appropriately.Plan and implement shop layouts to improve material flow and increase plant capacity and coordinate placement of new equipment to optimize existing shop capacities and new production processes.Develop and implement efficient and safe work methods, lean material process flows, and ensure equipment and tooling for products is efficient and cost effective.Provide training, written instructions, and standard work related to products to manufacturing personnel for critical processes to develop and maintain process capability.Establish time standards by use of approved Industrial engineering practices for accurate measurement of work performed and facilitate the appropriate approvals to implement into costing system.REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Engineering required0-2 years of experience requiredMicrosoft Office, Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), SAP
