Human Resources Business PartnerLafayette, LouisianaOur client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to lead the full HR function for an operational workforce of approximately 200 employees across two sites, one based locally and one in Texas. This is a standalone HR role supporting a fast-paced business unit within a larger organisation, offering the opportunity to make a real impact at site level while partnering closely with leaders across the business. There will be occasional travel, around 4 times per year, to the Texas site.This role would suit someone who is confident working independently, comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, and able to build credibility with operational stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesProvide full-cycle HR support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, investigations, and offboardingAct as a trusted HR partner to frontline leaders, supervisors, and operational stakeholders across the assigned sitesManage complex employee relations matters with sound judgement, professionalism, and discretionConduct investigations and maintain clear, accurate documentation in line with company policy and employment legislationSupport leaders with coaching, performance conversations, and day-to-day people mattersPartner on training, compliance, and broader HR initiatives as requiredMaintain HR records, systems, and reporting to support business needsOperate as the key HR contact for the business unit, balancing strategic support with hands-on executionQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within operational environments such as construction, manufacturing, logistics, or similarStrong knowledge of employee relations, investigations, performance management, and HR complianceExperience supporting site-based or field-based populationsAble to work independently and confidently influence stakeholders at different levelsStrong interpersonal skills, sound judgement, and the resilience to operate in a fast-paced environmentValid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally as requiredAA/EOE/M/W/Vet/Disability
