Security Officer - Rex Protective Services

UNC Health - - Responsibilities: Communicates effectively via two-way radio, computer, email, telephone and via verbal communications within the Hospital Police Department, as well as with other law enforcement agencies, Hospital staff members, visitors and patients.; Responds to smoke, trouble or fire alarms as required and participates in Emergency Response Team activities.; Patrols assigned area, conducts parking surveys, and documents security or safety hazards.; Controls access at entrances and monitors parking for E.D. customers and after-hours entrances.; Completes and documents incident, trespass, and use of force reports with narrative in departmental records management system.
