Job SummaryTo be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below.We are seeking an experienced Skilled Painter / Lead Painter to perform high-quality painting work and support team coordination on-site. This role requires hands-on expertise, the ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, and the capability to guide and assist junior team members.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to maintain productivity while ensuring quality standards are met.Compensation & Benefits$23/h - $25/h (based on experience)401(k) plan6 paid holidays per yearGasoline allowance1 week of paid vacation after the first yearOn-the-job training and growth opportunitiesSchedule: Monday to Friday, according to project requirements. Weekends : occasionally, as per the client’s request.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform professional painting work, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing (brush, roller, and spray)Prepare surfaces by sanding, patching, caulking, and masking as neededRead and follow work orders, project instructions, and specificationsOperate equipment such as scissor lifts and ladders safelyLead and support Painting Helpers and less experienced team membersAssign tasks and help maintain workflow efficiency on-siteEnsure quality control and consistency in finished workCommunicate with supervisors regarding progress, materials, and any issuesHandle, mix, and apply paints and coatings properlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all safety procedures and proper use of PPERequirementsProven experience in painting (residential, commercial, or industrial)Experience operating scissor lifts and boom lifts (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)Ability to lead small teams and provide guidance to entry-level workersStrong knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materialsAbility to lift and carry materials (up to ~50–75 lbs as needed)Comfortable working at heights and in different environmentsReliable transportationStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsExperience with spray equipment and advanced coatingsBasic understanding of workplace safety standards (OSHA knowledge is a plus)Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusWork EnvironmentProjects include indoor and outdoor assignments.Work may involve exposure to heat, dust, and construction environmentsUse of ladders, lifts, and other equipment is requiredEqual Opportunity StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.If you meet the qualifications, please apply!Company DescriptionSIGOOK® is a Staffing Firm offering equal labor opportunities in compliance with all applicable laws in the USA for personnel recruitment and selection.
