FunctionThe City of Hampton is seeking a motivated and service-driven Concessions Manager to oversee all food, beverage, and catering operations at the Hampton, VA Aquaplex. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising sales and service functions, ensuring high-quality guest experiences, and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.If you have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence, we invite you to bring your talents to one of Hampton’s premier recreational facilities.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Food Service, Hotel/Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or equivalent field.Three (3) years of full-time equivalent experience with progressively more responsibility in the management of food and beverage concession service for an aquatic center, arena, convention center, or similar environment.One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience in the supervision of food and beverage personnel or closely related experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered for this position. Food Service Management Certification, such as Serv Safe, is required or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of employment. Must successfully pass a background check before any offer of employment or promotion.Must possess a valid driver’s license and must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record based on the City of Hampton’s criteria.Additional RequirementsRequires working non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.The incumbent may be considered “essential personnel” during City emergencies or at the direction of the City Manager, which may include long hours and unusual schedules.Click here for a complete job description.“Join the City of Hampton team!
