Job Description Join Our Team as a Neuro-OphthalmologistOur organization is actively looking for a full-time ophthalmologist with a focus on Neuro-Ophthalmology to become part of our diverse team of specialists and general practitioners. This position is affiliated with a prominent medical center and children's hospital located in Loma Linda, California.Key ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will be responsible for:Providing exceptional patient careEngaging in research activitiesTeaching and supervising residentsInstructing medical studentsQualificationsApplicants must have completed an accredited residency in either ophthalmology or neurology, along with fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology. Candidates with additional skills in comprehensive ophthalmology or surgical procedures will also be considered. Faculty members may qualify for federal student loan forgiveness programs.Compensation and BenefitsThe anticipated total annual compensation for this role is approximately $235,000. This figure includes variable compensation and is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) work schedule as specified in the departmental compensation plan. The starting base salary, which varies according to experience and faculty rank, is expected to range from $210,000 to $250,000.
