QA Automation Lead (Selenium/Playwright, Java)

Peak Performers has partnered with a Texas State Agency to assist in their search for a remote QA Automation Lead (Selenium, Playwright, Java). In this position, you will be responsible for performing advanced computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the QA division of IT.Major dutiesAnalyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases. Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail. Perform manual testing and data validation. Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data. Work with the development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team. Execute performance and accessibility testing. What are we looking for?7+ years of experience testing complex Web Applications at all phases of Software Development Life Cycle. 6+ years of testing automation experience with Selenium/Playwright with JAVA and TestNG. 5+ years of advanced Database/SQL Language experience. 4+ years of experience creating automation test frameworks using Playwright. 2+ years of experience with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools and GitHub CoPilot or other AI Tools to generate Test Scripts. 3+ years of experience in API testing (SOAP and REST) preferred. 2+ years of experience Using Apache POI and Apache PDFBox preferred. Previous experience with JIRA and Zephyr Scale preferred.
