In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and construction within our facilities to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing downtime and reducing overall operational costs while adhering to safety standards and regulations. As a Maintenance Manager, you will collaborate closely with our production and operations teams to manage preventive maintenance, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, have a keen attention to detail, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Duties include: As a maintenance manager, your responsibilities include overseeing all maintenance and construction activities, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues related to defective or underperforming systems and machinery. You are expected to implement preventative maintenance strategies to prevent breakdowns, repairs, and machinery rebuilds. Additionally, you will be responsible for purchasing and maintaining an inventory of components for the equipment. A strong understanding of various technical systems is essential. You will implement preventative maintenance for a range of equipment, including electrical components, combustion systems, heating and air conditioning units, power transmission equipment, belt conveyors, augers, mechanical mixers, air compressors, blowers, industrial gas burners, and dry bulk silos. Skills/Abilities: · Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. · Efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks. · In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. · A clear understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) along with basic computer skills. · Possess knowledge and the ability to diagnose combustion circuits. · Ensure all construction and maintenance work complies with relevant codes and standards. · Maintain a strong focus on safety awareness. · Exhibit effective communication and interpersonal skills. · Possess strong organizational skills and manage paperwork promptly. General Information: Shift start and end times may vary depending on seasonal demand, typically from Monday to Friday.
