Electrical Test Support Engineer
Hayden AI is a computer vision company transforming transit systems and government agencies through mobile perception technology. As an Electrical Test Support Engineer, you will design and implement test fixtures, conduct failure analysis on returned hardware, and drive improvements in field reliability by analyzing RMA trends and working with cross‑functional teams.
What You’ll Do
Design and implement automated or manual test fixtures to support hardware validation and sustaining activities
Probe, test, and debug returned hardware to identify root causes of failures using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and protocol analyzers
Generate comprehensive first-level analysis reports and detailed FA documentation for cross-functional teams and vendors
Analyze RMA data trends to recommend design or firmware changes that reduce field failure rates
Conduct component-level troubleshooting and systematic failure analysis on defective devices
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
3–4 years of experience in hardware testing, manufacturing test engineering, or failure analysis
Proficiency in debugging embedded systems and high-speed communication interfaces
Experience with Linux-based systems and shell scripting for automated diagnostic routines
Hands‑on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and protocol analyzers
Nice to Have
Experience with JIRA for bug tracking and Confluence for technical documentation
