Machine/Assembly Setup Operator

Cablecraft is seeking a Machine/Assembly Set-Up Operator to support production in our New Haven, IN facility. In this role, you will set up and operate equipment and fixtures that incorporate CNC machine and/ or screw machines or processes. The operator may also be assigned to operate any machinery within the assigned Product Work Area (PWA) as needed. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate equipment and fixtures used in machining and assembly operations. Run CNC and/or screw machines to produce parts according to specifications. Change, re-sharpen, and reset tools as needed. Diagnose basic machine issues and perform mechanical adjustments or minor repairs. Maintain accuracy and quality of machined and assembled components. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Operate any machinery assigned within the PWA, as needed. Requirements: Must have all hand tools required for the job. Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform machine adjustments. Ability to read and follow instructions and production documentation. Ability to lift 40 pounds, Flexibility to learn and operate additional machinery withing the PWA.
