PMO Project ManagerLocation: Remote (NYC Metro area preferred)Employment Type: Contract / Full-TimeNOTE: We are unable to consider Third-Party candidates for this position.We are seeking a Project Manager with strong healthcare experience to lead and govern complex, enterprise-level initiatives within a health insurance environment. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects ($1M+ budgets) while ensuring alignment to PMO standards, governance frameworks, and enterprise portfolio priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead delivery of enterprise healthcare projects through PMO governance standardsDevelop and manage integrated project plans, budgets ($1M+), schedules, and resource allocationsEnsure adherence to PMO processes, reporting standards, and project controlsManage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests across complex environmentsCoordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and business/IT stakeholdersProvide consistent status reporting and executive-level communicationEnsure quality assurance, documentation, and compliance with delivery standardsSupport portfolio alignment and prioritization in partnership with PMO leadershipFacilitate steering committees, governance meetings, and stakeholder forumsQualifications7+ years of project management experience, with strong PMO backgroundHealthcare / health insurance industry experience requiredExperience managing enterprise projects with budgets of $1M+Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (12+ years in lieu of degree)PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM certification requiredExperience with PMO tools such as Planview, JIRA, or similar platformsKey SkillsStrong PMO governance, reporting, and enterprise delivery disciplineExpertise in risk, issue, financial, and dependency managementExcellent executive communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to operate in matrixed, regulated healthcare environmentsStrong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skillsProficiency in MS Office and enterprise project tracking tools
