Title: Master PlannerLocation: Fiskdale, MASalary Range: $80,000-$90,000 DOE Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Master Planner to lead production and material planning activities for our medical device manufacturing operations. The Master Planner will develop and maintain the master production schedule, balance supply and demand, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements. This role requires strong ERP/MRP expertise, forecasting and demand planning skills, and hands-on experience in plastics and injection molding manufacturing environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the master production schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand, capacity constraints, and inventory targetsOperate and optimize MRP/ERP systems to drive accurate material requirements planning, order releases, and exception managementCollaborate with Sales, Procurement, Engineering, and Production to translate forecasts into executable manufacturing plans and prioritize work to meet delivery commitmentsPerform demand planning and forecasting analysis using historical data, sales input, and market indicators to improve forecast accuracyBalance inventory levels and lead times to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and working capital while supporting service level targetsCoordinate purchasing and supplier lead times to ensure material availability for scheduled production, including follow-up and escalation with suppliers when neededCreate short- and long-range capacity plans, identify bottlenecks, and recommend schedule changes or resources to optimize throughputPrepare production schedules, shop orders, and work instructions in coordination with production supervision to ensure smooth flow on the shop floorMaintain and improve planning metrics and KPIs (forecast accuracy, inventory turns, on-time delivery, schedule adherence) and produce regular reporting for managementSupport continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvements related to planning and schedulingEnsure planning activities and documentation comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards, including traceability and change control for medical device productsProvide training and guidance to planners and operations staff on planning systems, procedures, and best practicesParticipate in new product introductions (NPI) to develop initial material plans, lead times, and ramp strategiesTroubleshoot production and material disruptions and implement corrective actions to restore schedule performanceQualificationsBachelors degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; or equivalent experienceMinimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in production planning, master scheduling, or material planning in a manufacturing environment; experience in medical device manufacturing strongly preferredProven experience with ERP and MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills; experience with APS tools is a plusDemonstrated expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management, safety stock calculation, lot sizing, and lead time analysisWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements and experience maintaining compliance in planning and production processesBenefits- Comprehensive benefits package - Medical, Dental, Vision- 401(k) Matching- PTO and Sick- Parental Leave - & much much more!  Email Your Resume In Word ToAndrea.Mondragon@cybercoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
