The organization values professionalism, integrity, and reliable service in every engagement.Role Description The Inspector role is a full-time, remote position focused on evaluating roofing systems and building envelopes for commercial properties. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed inspections (often based on photos, reports, drawings, and remote coordination), documenting conditions, and identifying deficiencies, risks, and maintenance needs. The Inspector will prepare clear, concise inspection reports, including findings, photos, and recommendations for repairs or improvements. This role collaborates with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify scope, answer technical questions, and support project planning and budgeting. The Inspector will also help maintain inspection standards, follow safety and regulatory guidelines, and support continuous improvement of internal procedures and templates.Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of commercial roofing systems, building envelope components, and related construction practices.Ability to perform thorough inspections, assess structural and material conditions, and identify code or performance issues.Strong report-writing skills with the ability to present technical findings in clear, accessible language.Proficiency with digital tools for documentation, including cameras, mobile apps, inspection software, and standard office applications.Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, clients, and contractors in a remote environment.Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.Relevant experience in roofing inspection, building envelope assessment, construction, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., RRO, RRC, PE, or similar) are a plus.Familiarity with applicable building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.
