This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of our financial records, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and supporting strategic financial initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord journal entries for revenue, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and other general ledger activitiesPerform detailed account reconciliations, including revenue, intercompany balances, and subledgersMaintain and update fixed asset schedules and depreciation entriesSupport the monthly close process by ensuring timely and accurate posting of transactionsPrepare documentation and schedules for external auditsCompile financial data for internal management reporting and variance analysisAssist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPEnsure compliance with internal accounting policies and proceduresAssist with implementation of new accounting standards and process improvementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data flowMentor junior accounting staff and support their professional developmentRespond to ad hoc requests from management, and other departments.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-entity environmentStrong understanding of U.S. GAAPProficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft ExcelProven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience working with or within business process outsourcing (BPO) environments is a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across departmentInter-Con is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability/Veteran.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceWork Location: In person
