About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Microsoft's .NET technologies. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative applications while contributing to the full software development lifecycle.This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working with modern cloud technologies, and delivering high-performance business applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems.Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications.Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.Design and optimise SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures.Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services.Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.Stay up to date with emerging Microsoft technologies and development best practices.Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.3–5+ years of experience developing applications using .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Web APIs.Experience designing and developing SQL Server databases.Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Blazor.Experience developing cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure.Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party applications.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), software design patterns, and software engineering best practices.Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.Microsoft or Azure certifications are desirable.Desirable SkillsExperience with Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, or Service Bus.Knowledge of Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core.Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerised deployments.Experience with automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices.Exposure to microservices architecture and modern application design.What You'll BringA passion for building high-quality software.A proactive and collaborative mindset.Strong attention to detail and commitment to best practices.The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.A continuous learning mindset and enthusiasm for new technologies.
