Funding Specialist

FUNDER THE RIGHT PERSON Universal Settlement Services of PA is hiring; we are looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Funding Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that all documents, funds, and requirements are processed accurately and efficiently for a smooth closing. The ideal candidate has a very positive attitude, is a strong team player, and excels in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is an absolute MUST in this position Responsibilities: Review and verify all incoming funding packages for accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with lenders, buyers, agents, and internal team members to resolve discrepancies quickly. Ensure all documents meet compliance standards before releasing funds. Accurately record and track funding conditions, balances, and disbursements. Communicate updates proactively with the closing team to ensure timely closings. Maintain organized files and uphold strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Qualifications: Experience in title, mortgage, escrow, or a related field preferred (but not required). Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files at once. Unmatched attention to detail—accuracy is a MUST. Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with both internal and external partners. Very positive attitude and a team player mindset. Comfortable making and receiving calls to gather information or clarify documentation. Proficiency in office software, email, and document management systems. Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A detail-obsessed individual who takes pride in accuracy. Someone who enjoys problem-solving and ensuring every number and document is correct. A collaborative team member with strong initiative and professionalism.
