Your Impact at SAM:
The IT Endpoint Technician will be a member of the IT team and will primarily be focused on handling equipment provisioning and de-provisioning.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Image and deploy computers and peripherals
Assist with maintaining images, windows updates, deployments and driver updates
Troubleshoot computers and peripherals
Provide technical support via phone, remote, and onsite for computers, printers, phones, and users as needed
Install and troubleshoot various devices including computers, laptops, printers, plotters, tablets, and cell phones
Manage equipment provisioning, tracking, de-provisioning, and usage reporting
Assist in managing KACE, MDM, DDS, and other asset management systems
Manage and utilize spare equipment inventory for quick user turnaround
Handle logistics for IT equipment through different courier services
Manage the repair or replace (RMA) defective computer equipment with IT vendors
Assist in developing and maintaining documentation and standards for IT processes and procedures
Perform other duties or special projects as requested related to area of responsibility
Work with small team in energetic professional environment
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
What You Bring to SAM:
2 to 5 years’ experience working on a help desk team in a multi-office environment
Experience with computer imaging, user provisioning, de-provisioning processes, and PC hardware repair
Installing, patching, uninstalling other applications
A+ preferred
