We have an exciting opportunity for those seeking an opportunity to develop project management knowledge and skills while working with others who strive for personal and prfoessional growth.Key Attributes of Ideal CandidateEncourages innovation without compromising client needs or work qualityPossesses a "listen-first" mentalityStrives to strengthen client and project management skillsSuccessful in leading water and/or wastewater projects Enjoys contributing to the overall success of a team through guidance, mentoring, and leadershipResponsibilitiesProvide professional services for civil engineering projects to include design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, and coordination of sub-consultants and contractorsProvide professional services for the design and construction of water supply and distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and water/wastewater treatment facilitiesWork within multi-discipline projects that include civil, electrical, and architectural aspectsProvide quality control and quality assurance on all project workAssist Project Manager in maintaining budgets and schedules of project assignments and in maintaining quality client relationships and communicationCoordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetingsProvide guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and other project team membersGather critical data to assist clients with project financing and funding developmentBasic RequirementsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related fieldFundamentals in Engineering (EIT) certifiedAbility to travel as required for business development and project/client responsibilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and OutlookAbility to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyMaintain stellar reputation for integrity, fairness, reliability, good judgement and aptitude among peers, management, and staffAll applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulationsPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in civil or environmental engineeringFive (5) years of related experienceRegistration as a Professional Engineer ideal or ability to obtain within 12 monthsProficient with Civil 3D, ESRI Products, and/or hydraulic or process modeling softwareDesign work and knowledge with water supply, water resources, drinking water and wastewater treatment and collection systems, utility planning, and other municipal vertical and horizontal infrastructure Experience leading both internal initiatives and external projectsAbility to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
