Housing Navigation/Stabilization Coordinator
Company Description Many Mansions is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable, well-managed, and service-enriched housing for low-income individuals and families in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. With a focus on serving those who are formerly homeless, seniors, veterans, or individuals with disabilities, we manage over 600 housing units and serve approximately 1,300 adults and 300 children. Our on-site services include case management, job training, tutoring, food distributions, and more to help residents overcome barriers and improve their lives. Through these initiatives, Many Mansions supports the community by fulfilling a fundamental need: providing a place to call home. Role Description The Housing Navigation/Stabilization Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role located in Thousand Oaks, CA. The individual in this role will assist clients in locating and securing appropriate housing, provide case management to residents, and support individuals in maintaining housing stability. Responsibilities include coordinating with property managers, facilitating access to social services, handling housing-related documentation, and advocating for the needs of residents to ensure they receive necessary support. Qualifications Experience in Case Management and Social Services, with the ability to assess client needs and develop tailored solutions.Knowledge of Affordable Housing and Social Housing systems, with a demonstrated understanding of housing policies and resources.Proficiency in Property Management practices, including rental assistance programs and tenant relations.Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and community partners.Background in social work or a related field is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field is a plus.Proficiency in a second language is an advantage.
