Our top client in higher education is searching for a Software Developer to join their team! Candidates must be strong with Python and SQL Server - additional exposure to Microsoft Azure AI technologies is considered a strong plus. This is a great opportunity to support an ongoing AI initiative while supporting new development and enhancement of web-based applications and backend systems.The team works a hybrid schedule of 3-4 days onsite with flexibility as you get established.*We are only able to consider candidates currently located in the Greater St. Louis area for this position.6 month contract with possibility of conversion - benefits available on contract*Cannot work C2C*Required SkillsExperience with Python web application development Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently within a collaborative project team Preferred SkillsExperience with Microsoft Azure Foundry AI / Azure AI services Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Exposure to AI/ML-related application development Familiarity with cloud-hosted application environments
