We focus on Creating Healthy Employees, Families and Communities. We offer a variety of unique and FREE services to members focusing on prevention and early intervention.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated part-time counselor. The position involves providing professional counseling to employees, spouses, and dependents (ages 4 to 21) for participating member organizations. This role offers an opportunity to provide vital support to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. The ideal candidate will have experience in various therapeutic modalities and a strong commitment to client-centered care. The Part-time Counselor will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective counseling services through in-person and telehealth platforms, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.ResponsibilitiesClinical Services: Provide individual, couple, or family counseling for concerns such as workplace stress, marriage/family tensions, and alcohol or drug abuse.Assessments & Referrals: Assess the scope of presenting issues and refer clients to specialized services when appropriate.Crisis Intervention: Manage crisis services as needed.Community Education: Write articles for the quarterly newsletter and conduct psychoeducational workshops.Service Delivery: Counseling may be delivered via remote telehealth (phone/Zoom) or face-to-face sessions at the office.QualificationsStrong counseling skills including individual and group therapy techniquesProficiency in client assessment and development of action plansExcellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain detailed and accurate client documentationKnowledge of mental health principles and ethical guidelinesMaster’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related fieldState licensure or eligibility for licensure as a professional counselor or social workerPrevious experience in counseling or mental health services is a plusHours This is a part time position. Successful Candidate will be able to work 15-20 hours/week who can work mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm.
