Since 2016, OptimALL has partnered with 45 Catholic schools throughout the Cincinnati area to support students with diverse learning needs in faith-centered educational environments.Basic FunctionThe Intervention Specialist will provide specially designed instruction to students receiving services through the Jon Peterson and Autism Scholarships. This individual will collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to develop and implement objective, measurable IEP goals, determine appropriate accommodations, and support student success within a Catholic school setting.Minimum Employment Requirements:Bachelor's degree in special educationValid Ohio Intervention Specialist license or teaching certificateAbility to pass required criminal background checksStrong organizational, communication, and collaboration skillsAbility to generate, collect, analyze, and maintain student dataAbility to administer and interpret standardized assessmentsKnowledge of Ohio Department of Education requirements, model curriculum, and Ohio's Learning StandardsCommitment to maintaining confidentiality of student records and school information.Responsibilities:Demonstrate knowledge of special education laws, policies, and proceduresProvide moderate to intensive specially designed instruction aligned with IEP goalsDevelop individualized, objective, and measurable IEP goals and objectivesCollaborate with general education teachers to determine appropriate accommodations, modifications, and interventionsWork collaboratively with service providers to support students on assigned caseloadsComplete IEP documentation and progress monitoring reportsAttend IEP, IAT, and other student support meetings as requestedBuild and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and school staffMaintain professional conduct, appearance, and ethical standardsPerform additional duties as assigned by the Executive DirectorTo ApplyPlease send resumes to:[email protected]
