Position Overview: Crandall Corporation is seeking a motivated Tire Helper to join our tire collection team. The Tire Helper works alongside a Tire Driver, riding in the truck and assisting with the loading and lacing of scrap tires into the back of a trailer. This is a hands-on, physically active role that requires reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities: Ride with the assigned Tire Driver to collection sites. Load and lace scrap tires into trailers safely and efficiently. Assist with proper stacking and securing of loads. Follow safety protocols and use provided PPE. Maintain a clean and organized work area inside the trailer and at collection sites. Provide courteous interactions with customers and the public as a representative of Crandall Corporation. Requirements: Reliable transportation to and from the designated work start point. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving heavy tires. Flexibility to start shifts between 5:00 and 6:00 a.m., with earlier start times as needed. Ability to work occasional overnight trips when required. Compensation & Benefits: Hourly pay for 40 hours per week plus commission on each tire collected. 401(k) plan with company match. Opportunities for overtime. Additional Information: This is an outdoor, all-weather position that involves physical labor. Training will be provided on loading and lacing techniques.
