The stated pay range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting, but final compensation may vary as permitted by law.Job Summary:Assess and provide treatment for individuals with speech, language, oral and pharyngeal functions, as well as cognitive or communicative abilities.Key Responsibilities:Implement therapy interventions using standard techniques suitable for the patient's condition.Educate and counsel patients and their families about treatment plans.Maintain clinical documentation and adhere to performance improvement guidelines.Assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services and provide information on relevant support programs.Work in a consistently alert and safe manner.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:Education: Master's degree requiredExperience: No prior experience necessaryPhysical Requirements:Regular lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive movements of the legs and arms.Regular use of vision for near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) distances, including color differentiation.Frequent auditory communication and ability to hear alarms and machinery.Regular keyboard use and data entry.Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and gripping.Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing between 25-50 lbs.Rare climbing required.Licenses and Certifications:Resuscitation Certification: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 days of employment.
