To support this mission, we are seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support the FBI’s Technology Innovation Section. In this role, you will be at the forefront of the Bureau’s digital transformation, developing sophisticated cloud service delivery models (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, DaaS) and migrating mission-critical applications to highly secure AWS enclaves (SC2S/C2S). Working within a SAFe 6.0 environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the FBI’s technology remains resilient, scalable, and secure against evolving threats.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement cloud service delivery models including PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS to support FBI innovation goalsLead the migration of legacy on-premises applications to the FBI’s specialized AWS enclaves (SC2S/C2S)Perform deep-dive debugging and troubleshooting of complex cloud stacks to maintain system performance and uptimeImplement DevSecOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate security controls and deployment pipelinesOperate within an Agile SAFe 6.0 framework to deliver iterative software products that meet high availability requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design software products specifically optimized for classified cloud environmentsRequired Experience/ClearanceActive U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or cloud development3+ years of hands-on experience working specifically within government AWS SC2S and C2S enclavesDemonstrated experience implementing DevSecOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutionsProven proficiency in designing and developing software products tailored for cloud-native environmentsDesired ExperienceCurrent SAFe for Architects (ARCH) certificationExperience working with the FBI’s Secret Cloud on Premise (SCOP) infrastructureExpertise in performing cost-benefit analyses and optimization for cloud-agnostic servicesAdvanced knowledge of automated security orchestration and compliance-as-codeExperience with high-availability architecture design for national security missionsRedhorse Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
