Environmental Field Technician / Laborer *$500 Incentive* (Job # 5006)

POSITION DESCRIPTION Ensuring the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site by adhering to SET safety policies and procedures by identifying, communicating and mitigating hazards Taking an active role on crews by participating in both scheduled and emergency response-based projects Assisting in loading of equipment and supplies for project needs Being able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 50lbs Working in a variety of weather conditions The support of various environmental projects ranging from, but not limited to: Confined Space Entry – CSE Environmental remediation Waterway response Hazardous materials clean up Will perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary POSITION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER or ability to obtain Basic computer skills Must be flexible to changes in work schedule and be available for On-call Ability to perform physical labor under direction of crew leads Ability to respond to out of town projects as needed Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently Industry/Construction experience preferred but not required Valid Driver’s License with good driving record that meets SET insurance guidelines What’s in it For You: Average entry level annual earnings $52,500 annually You will join a large growing company offering excellent benefits Opportunity for a long-term, advanced career path Access to best-in-class resources, tools and technology A company that values a culture of safety All after-hour Emergency response work paid at OT rates and all weekend work paid at OT rates Out of town work, all expenses paid plus per diem Safety Incentive programs (earning potential of $3,000/year) SET Investments in You: Training: OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER Emergency Response training Confined Space Training Forklift Training CDL Class B Training CPR/First Aid E-Rail certification Plus, MUCH more including DOT, EPA, & FEMA courses SET Environmental is an equal employment opportunity employer which provides a drug-free workplace.
