Analytica is seeking a Java Technical Lead to drive technical software delivery of mission-critical healthcare systems supporting CMS. This role blends hands-on development, technical leadership, and client engagement to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions in complex enterprise environments.The ideal candidate is a senior engineer who is comfortable leading development teams, interacting directly with federal stakeholders, and ensuring solutions align with CMS technical standards and enterprise SDLC practices.Responsibilities include (but not limited to):Lead design and development of enterprise applications using J2EE, JBOSS, React, and AWSPlan, manage, and oversee technical work across multi-platform, multi-tool environmentsEnsure full alignment with CMS Technical Reference Architecture (TRA) and SDLC standardsDirect system design, development, integration, and deployment activitiesProvide technical leadership across database design, file interfacing, and system integrationCollaborate regularly with CMS stakeholders to refine requirements and resolve issuesOversee processing, validation, and management of healthcare and provider data systemsEnsure all deliverables meet CMS quality standards, security requirements, and development principlesTroubleshoot and resolve complex production and integration issuesMentor developers and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and documentationContinuously improve system performance, scalability, and reliability Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field10+ years of experience in enterprise application development and technical leadershipStrong hands-on experience with:J2EE platforms (JBOSS preferred)Modern front-end frameworks (React)Cloud environments (AWS) Deep understanding of enterprise SDLC, system architectures, and infrastructure toolsetsExperience operating and supporting multi-platform, distributed systems environmentsDemonstrated experience with CMS systems or healthcare data processingKnowledge of provider data, claims processing, or healthcare information systemsProven ability to lead technical teams and manage end-to-end deliveryStrong communication skills with experience engaging federal clients (CMS preferred)Ability to ensure compliance with CMS standards, security, and quality requirementsUS Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. federal security clearanceAbout ANALYTICA: Analytica is a leading consulting and information technology solutions provider to public sector organizations supporting health, civilian, and national security missions.
