If youre a skilled electrician with leadership experience and a strong commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the installation of standby generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS)Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electric Code (NEC) and state/local regulationsSupervise and mentor electricians and apprentices on the job siteInterpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project plansTroubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during and after installationPromote a safety-first culture and ensure all work is performed according to company safety policiesMaintain accurate documentation and job recordsRequirements:Valid Master Electrician License in the state of ILProven experience as a Master Electrician or similar senior electrical roleStrong knowledge of residential electrical systems, wiring methods, and generator installationAbility to train, manage, and lead other electricians and apprenticesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanshipPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments, including outdoors and confined spacesAt first will be onsite doing installs but will transition to supervisory.Assist with estimating, permitting, and all things technicalPartner with sales to ensure proper quoting and customer service.Preferred Experience & Skills:Experience installing Generac, Kohler, or other standby generator systemsProficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic toolsFamiliarity with trenching, conduit bending, and service panel upgradesComEd and Peoples Gas coordination historyWhy Join Generator Supercenter?Competitive pay based on licensure and experienceWork with a recognized national brand and top-rated productsCareer growth opportunities in a high-demand industrySupportive team environment and ongoing trainingOpportunity to grow into Leadership roles.Apply now to bring your expertise to a company that values safety, quality, and innovation in the energy space.
