Senior Tax Supervisor & Client Relationship Leader
About The RoleWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Remote Tax Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in fostering strong client relationships and guiding a talented team of tax professionals. If you're passionate about tax and financial management and enjoy leading and developing others, we'd love to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Supervise and support our tax team by managing workloads, setting priorities, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks. Provide constructive feedback and conduct performance reviews.Training & Development: Assist in onboarding and training new team members. Offer ongoing coaching and support to help the team maintain high performance and morale.Client Interaction: Lead client kick-off meetings and build strong relationships with clients. Conduct quarterly meetings to review progress, provide feedback, and discuss estimated tax projections.Financial Management: Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance. Offer consulting services and strategic advice on financial matters.Tax Preparation & Strategy: Handle tax return preparation, research tax issues and strategies, and review and sign off on tax returns. Stay updated on tax reduction strategies and ensure adherence to tax laws.Accounting Support: Provide additional accounting support as needed and perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsLicensed CPA with at least 5 years of tax experience, including roles as a Tax Senior or Tax Associate.Knowledgeable in accounting, payroll, and the tax code for individuals and small businesses, including S-Corp and Partnership returns.Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and UltraTax.
