Job Description Newton & Associates Spine & Pain is a private medical practice with two locations in Marietta, GA and Atlanta, GA. We specialize in pain management and exceptional patient care. We are professional, inclusive, collaborative and our goal is to provide effective and efficient treatment to our patients seeking relief from pain related to personal injury.Our work environment includes:Fulltime 32-36 Hours per weekSafe work environment4 - Day work weeksWeekends offSpanish speakingBenefitsJob Description: Compassionate interventional pain management practice working predominantly with patients injured in car accidents, looking for a bilingual professional, service oriented certified medical assistant to join our team to optimize health outcomes for our patients in pain. The position works closely with the doctor and will be learning from the doctor as well as experienced M.A's. The MA preps charts for the patients to be seen the next day. Patients see MA for vital signs and initial interview before seeing the doctor. The MA will draw up medications for the injections and draw labs for procedures. MA will operate the fluoroscope for injections. There will be some general office duties when needed.-Collect and record vital signs-Interview patients and record in EMR-Perform medication review-Assist in delivering patient care and preparation-Recieve and request radiology and lab results-Ensure exam and procedure rooms are clened and stocked-Check and answer clinical emails and voicemails-Draw labs for procedures-Various office duties when neededCertified Medical Assistant(Bilingual preferred), eClinicals EMR experience is a plus, must be able to travel between the two offices.
