PositionAccountant Essential Duties • Process invoices, daily transactions, and expense records accurately and in a timely manner• Provide general administrative and clerical support to the accounting department• Maintain and update accounting databases through data entry, ensuring accuracy of financial information and reports• Prepare and assist in generating daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports• Support day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and payroll processing assistance• Monitor and reconcile client and vendor records by working closely with accounting and finance professionals• Assist in collecting payments, tracking outstanding balances, and updating AR and AP records• Communicate with clients to gather financial information, address billing questions, and relay relevant details to accountants• Support account reconciliation, record verification, and documentation management• Assist in maintaining organized financial files in compliance with company proceduresWorking Hours, Working style9am-6pm, HybridWorking LocationPlano, TXSalary/Benefit50K - 70K (Negotiable)Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred)• 5+ years of professional accounting experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or related functions• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and reconciliation processes• Experience handling Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, and month-end close activities• Strong analytical skills with ability to review financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrections• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
