We provide a safe and secure working environment for our staffwhile helping non-citizens gain valuable skills and treatment necessary for success upon release.What you'll do: Responsible for assisting ICE Field Office Personnel with the following duties in compliance with MTC and ICE directives.Essential FunctionsProcess cases and perform all peripheral activities, immigration records, management, and document preparationPrepare, review, and manage case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentationEnsure Alien Files (A-files) and enforce Alien Removal Module (EARM/EADM) reflect a case status that is updated, accurate, and completeAccurately enter data into ICE systems ensuring compliance with agency protocols and data integrity requirementsMaintain and update electronic and paper-based case files, ensuring compliance with federal privacy laws, DHS policies, and federal data security requirementsRetrieve, compile, and organize county, state, and federal court records, conviction documents, and support case materials for multiple databases, and other government sourcesMaintain up-to-date case status records, court scheduling details, and case tracking logsGenerate case status reports and monitoring dashboardsAssist with docket coordination with EOIR and USCIS. Coordinate with ICE offices to facilitate interviews, hearings, removals, and case updatesReview appropriate paperwork for completeness and accuracyEnsure all administrative applications are reviewed. A-files are updated, and docket officers timely notified for appropriate law enforcement actionRack compliance with release conditions and report violations, as applicableAssist ICE Office of Principle Legal Advisor (OPLA) in obtaining criminal history checks and other supporting documents as needed prior to courtAssist ICE personnel with scheduling and coordinating interviews between detainees and ICE officers, consulates, and legal representatives, as assignedOrganize and prepare removal documents and coordinate with ICE personnel for scheduling removal and staging flights. Ensure all documentation is prepared and accurateEnsure aliens scheduled for removal have the necessary documentation in A-files per ICE instructionsEnsure travel information, ICE Air scheduling and manifest(s) are completed, detention center release forms are prepared, and property inventories/receipts are ready on the scheduled time and day of departureEnsure detainees have the necessary legal paperwork, seven-day supply of medication, property, and valuables before transfer or removalCollect, review for completeness and accuracy, and file signed Form I-205 Warrant of Removal Deportation departure verifications in A-fileEnsure case is closed in the ICE data systems and file is transferred to the National Record Center for storageSchedule interviews between detainees and ICE officers, consulates, and legal representatives as applicableCommunicate with all aliens in the alien’s primary language with assistance from an electronic language translator deviceProvide other logistical and administrative support for ICE personnel as assignedProvide surge support after hours, including expanded breadth and depth of tasks as requiredRegular and predictable onsite attendance is requiredIt is expected that the incumbent will work overtime, when directed to do soPromote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observedMaintain accountability of detainees and property; adhere to safety practicesIt is expected the incumbent will perform other duties as assigned within his/her scope of work as determined by management.Education And Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDAt least 21 years of ageUS CitizenshipProficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook are requiredAssociate or bachelor’s degree, relevant experience in legal or government settings and minimum of 2 years of experience in case processing, administrative support, records management, or a related field strongly desiredMust be capable of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive informationValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
