Day Porter

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. Duties - Perform industrial cleaning tasks to maintain the overall cleanliness of the facility - Conduct custodial duties such as trash removal, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces - Execute floor care maintenance including sweeping, mopping, and buffing - Support in maintaining the exterior areas of the facility - Handle porter duties such as restocking supplies and assisting with deliveries Requirements - Experience in facilities maintenance and commercial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and equipment - Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization - Proficiency in floor care techniques including buffing - Strong attention to detail and time management skills - Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as required Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $11.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Experience: Janitorial: 1 year (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: Selma, AL (Required) Work Location: In person
