We are also a publicly traded company on the NYSE with the ticker symbol KNF and part of the S&P MidCap 400 index.Role OverviewAs a seasonal team member, you’ll enjoy winters off to travel, hunt, fish, or pursue the activities you love—while still keeping your benefits all year long.This position is responsible to maximize bituminous plant production through monitoring equipment operation and performing preventative maintenance.DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.Safely and properly perform maintenance and startup of Blacktop PlantMonitory blacktop productionVerify blacktop meets specificationsMonitor oil consumption of blacktop plantComplete daily progress reportsShovel excess material away from plantFill siloTear down and set up blacktop plantCalibrate blacktop plantAssist with repairsCommunicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisorsEnsure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance. Good housekeeping skills.
