Senior Accountant (Cost Analysis) @ Consumer Products Firm

Our client is a Global Consumer Products that has opened a new role in their Finance team. This role reports to the Controller. Role works directly with Dept heads, Plant operations, Marketing, Operators, and Head of the Business.This individual will oversee inventory and cost analysis, and financial reporting for our manufacturing operations. This role works closely with operations, supply chain, and procurement leadership to support accurate cost tracking and inventory valuation.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze cost and inventory accounting during monthly/quarterly/annual closeAnalyze and reconcile inventory, COGS, and standard costsReview manufacturing variances and partner with operations to improve efficiencySupport internal/external audits and ensure compliance with internal controlsOversee plant capital budgeting and provide financial guidanceQualifications:Bachelor’s in Accounting a plus6+ years in cost accounting, ideally in manufacturingStrong knowledge of ERP systems (Axis preferred) and ExcelExpertise in standard costing, inventory valuation, and financial close
