Details Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) setting within a hospital environment Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday on a varied basis with approximately 2 Fridays per month One 24-hour weekend call shift required per month Three weeknight call shifts (7:30 PM–7:00 AM) required per month Holiday coverage required for one summer and one winter holiday Charting performed in Epic (experience required) May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital Requirements Active NJ RN license (or compact license) required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred Epic EMR experience required Additional Information Perform thorough and systematic patient assessments across the pediatric to geriatric population Deliver direct patient care including pre- and post-procedure assessments and patient and family education Maintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with nursing process guidelines and patient outcomes Demonstrate knowledge of emergency equipment, procedures, and National Patient Safety Goals including Universal Protocol and dual patient identification Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered Two references are required for consideration 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-687648.
