Job DetailsDescriptionJob Overview:The Order Selector will primarily be responsible for picking and fulfilling orders. This is an on-site hourly position and will require a daily presence at our RectorSeal Earth City, MO facility.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in daily operationsPick customer orders accurately according to our Picking ProcedureWrap palletsLoad trailer & containersInspect product for damages, report as neededFollow all safety protocols and warehouse proceduresMaintain a clean and orderly warehouse environmentEquipment maintenance and upkeepRoutine cleaning dutiesInterface with management to ensure key objectives are realizedListen and follow instructions from supervisorMinimum RequirementsHigh School diploma (or equivalent)3+ years’ experience in Picking and Fulfilling Orders3+ years’ experience in operating Walkie Rider3+ years’ experience in operating Reach TruckPreferred RequirementsFamiliarity of use of shipping scannersInventory systems proficiency: DSI & JDE experience a plusSkills/CompetenciesProven work experience in warehouse settingPhysical stamina and dexterity necessary for work, must be able to lift or move at least 50 lbs. unassisted and stand for prolonged periodsAble to work independently and safelyProficient in speaking, reading and writing in English. Spanish a plus but not requiredBasic Arithmetic skills involving addition, subtraction, multiplicationComputer SkillsWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires computer use.
