This role requires a balance of patient care, clinical support, and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient experience.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Clinical SupportGreet and room patients in a professional and timely mannerTake and accurately document vital signsPerform phlebotomy and venipunctureAdminister vaccines and assist with clinical proceduresConduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testingFront Office DutiesSchedule appointments and manage provider calendarsAnswer and route incoming phone callsMaintain accurate patient records in EMR systemsBack Office & Clinical AssistanceAssist providers during examinations and proceduresPrepare and stock exam rooms to ensure readinessSupport efficient patient flow and clinical operationsTeam Collaboration & Patient ExperienceCollaborate effectively with clinical and administrative teamsCommunicate clearly with patients and staffContribute to a positive, patient-centered care environmentHealth Education & OutreachSupport patient education and wellness initiativesPromote preventive care practicesParticipate in community-focused healthcare activitiesRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (externship not included)2-3 years of overall clinical experience preferredProven experience in phlebotomy/venipunctureExperience using EMR systemsStrong communication, organizational, and computer skillsAbility to multitask with strong attention to detailBLS or CPR certification requiredPreferred QualificationsMedical Assistant CertificationExperience in Occupational Health settingFor more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
