SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA)

Salary is 90k to 100kWe are looking for a proactive SQL Server DBA to manage and optimize our enterprise database environments. You will ensure high availability, support disaster recovery, maintain reporting solutions, and oversee ETL processes to keep our systems running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:Administer and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance.Configure and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Always On Availability Groups.Manage SSRS environments: deploy reports, configure data sources, enforce security roles, and maintain subscriptions.Support and monitor SSIS packages, ensuring ETL workflows run efficiently and reliably.Perform backups, restores, patching, and upgrades to maintain database health.Optimize performance through query tuning, indexing, and proactive monitoring.Implement and maintain database security best practices.Collaborate with IT teams to plan database changes and minimize production impact.Document database configurations, ETL processes, and recovery procedures.Skills & Experience:SQL Server administration (installation, configuration, patching, upgrades)High availability solutions: Always On, clustering, log shippingSSRS and SSIS operational managementBackup, restore, and disaster recovery planningStrong T-SQL skills and troubleshooting experiencePerformance monitoring and optimizationPreferred:Cloud SQL experience (Azure SQL, AWS RDS)Automation/monitoring tools (PowerShell, SQL Agent, DBATools)Familiarity with CI/CD processes for database deployments
