DataScout, LLC values and supports their team, invests in the most advanced technology, and recruits the very best professionals to make it all happen!What You'll Do:Design major aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as user interface, middleware and infrastructureEnsure code, systems, and integrations are well defined and documentedEnhance and maintain existing software components including user interfaces, APIs, services, databases, and reportsPerform technical evaluations, create solutions, and design approaches to business solution needsProvide feedback and suggestions for process and product improvementYou will work on a real IT project and have a professional mentor along the wayQualifications of an ideal candidate: Strong Experience (2+ years) in Microsoft SQLStrong programming experienceExtensive experience with ASP.NET Core, MVC, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, HTML5, Web Services, IIS, and SQL ServerDeep understanding of the full stack; network, database, web front-end, database back-end, database optimization and web APISolid troubleshooting and problem solving skillsPracticed in W3C accessibility standards within the UIExpert skills in cross-browser and responsive web designAptitude in security protocols to mitigate vulnerabilities (e.g. cross-site scripting, SQL injection)Seamless translation of complex business requirements into a scalable application featuresStrong understanding of the structure and logic of Object-Oriented programmingExperience using Inversion of ControlExtreme attention to detail to UI/UX designThe ability to write clean and readable code in C#Skills that would make you stand out as a desired candidate: Atlassian Suite knowledge (Jira in particular)Experience with the Azure environmentExperience with RedGate ToolbeltExperience in Entity and Blazor frameworksProficient understanding of GITPrevious exposure to Telerik/Kendo productsOur Must Haves:Current Arkansas state residentAbility to pass a standard background checkAbility to work 40 hours a week, following the three-month internshipAbility to work full-time in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorshipHigh curiosity and interest in learning new technologies and growing or starting your IT careerTechnical aptitude exhibited through projects, experience, or online learning and the ability to communicate what you knowAdditional Details:Pay Range: $18-$22/hourSchedule: 40-hour week: typically 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-FridayLength of Internship: 3 months with the potential to convert to a full-time opportunity based on employer demandLocation: DataScout, LLC in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Hybrid ScheduleHow does the interview process work?
