Quality systems and measurement accuracy are critical to improving efficiency, reducing costs and verifying production.Job Description & SummaryThis position is responsible for assisting in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems for clients as assigned. The Journeyman Electrician will work under the supervision of Master Electrician. Work is often outdoors and working conditions range from frigid to hot temperatures, high winds, flying dust, slipping hazards and conditions, and frequently exposed to loud noise from heavy equipment and machinery.Job Functions & ResponsibilitiesLearn and adhere to Pneumatech' s safety policies and procedures.Troubleshooting & problem solving; diagnosing complex electrical systems and equipmentQuality Control; ensuring all work is performed to a high standard of qualityCommunication and collaboration with other techs and supervisors to ensure projects are being completed on time. Providing project updates and status reportsEnsuring safety in the workplace by following safety protocols and procedures, wearing appropriate safety equipment, and identifying potential hazardsDirect project team leads throughout break fixes and project completionKnowledgeable of NEC and OSHA standardsDirect project team leads throughout break fixes and project completionMust have people skills and task prioritizing skillsMaintain tools, vehicle, equipment, and keeping parts and supplies in order.Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills & AttributesAbility to effectively communicate both written and verbally.Demonstrated problem solving capability.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Desire to increase job knowledge by participating in learning opportunities and continuous improvement classes specific to job functions.Automation, Controls & PC skills are a plus.Education, Experience And Skills RequiredCurrent Texas Journeyman LicenseMinimum 1-year electrical experience (2+ years of electrical experience preferred)Previous oilfield experience and knowledge is preferred.High School Diploma/GED or higher levelBasic computer knowledge (windows, email, internet, etc.)Good communication skillsBasic math skillsReading skills (basic instructional and technical information) Must have a clean driving recordJob Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday with possible Weekend CalloutsBenefits401kDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurance Basic Life and AD&DPTO & Sick timeAll offers of employment at Pnematech are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check and drug screen.
