Account Manager

Account ManagerWe’re looking for a temporary Account Manager who is passionate, curious, and eager to learn. In this role, you will help drive the success of high-profile marketing and branding projects while serving as a trusted partner to clients and internal teams. Healthcare industry experience is a plus.Salary: $40-45/hr.Type: Contract (Potential for extension/CTH)Location: Birmingham, MI hybrid preferred, but open to fully remoteHrs/wk: 40Required Experience- Mid-level professional with 3–5+ years of relevant experiencePreferred Work Experience- 3–5+ years of account and/or project management experience- Experience managing branding and advertising campaignsEducation- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field preferred- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will also be consideredKnowledge, Skills, and Qualifications- Strong strategic thinking skills across a range of account responsibilities- Experience working with and managing internal and external partner networks- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint- Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Sheets- General business acumen- Financial management skills- Strong presentation development and delivery skills- Experience with project management softwareKey Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day client relationships and oversee project requests in a deadline-driven environment with efficiency and accuracy- Provide strategic thinking and responsive support across all client project segments- Serve as a key category expert on the client’s business and brand performance- Develop, manage, and present cost estimates and formal budgets to clients while ensuring adherence to approved budgets- Manage the creative revision and approval process between clients and internal creative teams- Receive and interpret project briefs from senior account leadership or clients, then manage workflow through creative teams- Develop formal agency briefs by translating verbal and written client input into templates- Facilitate and organize regular internal and external status meetings- Champion quality assurance, version control, and proofreading processes using internal management tools- Provide leadership and guidance to junior-level account team members, helping develop their management and strategic skills- Identify business opportunities and partner with the SAM/AD to help grow client relationships- Perform other duties as assigned by managementOther Key Accountabilities- Build and maintain strong client relationships- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions aligned to client needs and objectives- Support the growth of existing client business and identify opportunities for organic expansion- Develop, document, and measure assigned scopes of work- Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver effective project solutions- Manage assigned project financials- Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business and industry
